Hike, traipse, saunter or stroll, there’s walks for the wayfarer in everyone. Download this document for routes through woods, riversides, coasts, hilly ridges and bogs.

For a range of circular walks on both sides of the valley and surrounding areas, we like David Perrott’s, Walks in the Dyfi Valley including Aberdyfi, Machynlleth, Dylife, Cemmaes & Borth, published by Kittiwake – walks range from 4km/2.5m to 11km/7m and have clear sketch maps. Try the Tourist Information Centres for more.

Around King Arthur’s Labyrinth, the Centre for Alternative Technology and Talyllyn Railway, there are more trails to follow.

And you can always just take a walk along the dunes at Borth, or head up into the hills and see what you can find.
